Sheridan Neighborhood Organization (SNO) is a community-serving organization in NE MPLS.

SNO is run by a volunteer board of up to 11 elected board members who live, own property, or represent a business or institution in the neighborhood. Board Meetings are held on the 4th Monday of every month from 7-9PM and anyone is welcome to attend. We hold quarterly Community Meetings that are designed to be more engaging and relevant to community members. Check out our Events Calendar to find our upcoming meetings and locations.

Mission

The mission of the Sheridan Neighborhood Organization (SNO) is to strengthen and celebrate the community by facilitating connections between the residents, businesses, and institutions of Sheridan. SNO is dedicated to preserving the neighbors’ strengths, identifying and helping to address the community’s changing needs, and bringing positive improvements to all.

Where is Sheridan?

Sheridan Neighborhood is located in Northeast Minneapolis and is part of the Northeast Arts District. Sheridan’s boundaries extend east and west from the Mississippi Riverfront to Washington St NE, and north and south from 17th Ave NE to Broadway St NE except between the Mississippi Riverfront and California St NE where it extends northward to 18th Ave NE.

The Sheridan Neighborhood is a welcoming and thriving community. Sheridan is a safe, creative, and diverse place to live, work, and visit. Our community strives to support local businesses, preserve our vibrant history, maintain our flourishing arts community, and foster services needed to enjoy life.
