Thank you to those that participated in the Neighborhood Name Change Survey. We received over 200 responses! We are currently forming a Name Change Committee who will meet online, look at the anonymous survey results, and decide next steps for a possible name change! This could include public meetings, research, a follow-up name survey, and any other ideas to engage our community in this decision.

Have you taken the Neighborhood Name Change Survey yet? If not, there is still time! The deadline has been extended to December 31st, 2020.
Want to be more involved in this process? SNO is forming a Neighborhood Name Change Committee which will begin meeting in January, 2021 and will help guide the name change process towards a final decision on whether to change the name of the neighborhood, and if so, what the final name will be.

This month, we will have a legislative update from our representatives, then we will be hosting a community discussion on the Sheridan Neighborhood Name Change. Board and Community meetings are held on the 4th Monday of every month from 7 PM - 9 PM and everyone is welcome to attend. We hold quarterly community meetings (in January, April, July, and October) that are designed to be more engaging and informative. See meeting agendas and minutes here!
