Annual Meeting Rescheduled

SNO’s Annual Meeting is being rescheduled for May 19th from 7 - 9 PM due to severe weather.

This is where we discuss current events impacting our neighborhood, listen to ideas and comments from our neighbors, and vote on how to spend neighborhood funding to best support everyone who lives and works in Sheridan. Join us to contribute or just listen in!

We will be enjoying food from Unidos, looking back at the past year, Board Elections and hearing updates from Michael Rainville’s Office and more.

Board and Community meetings are held on the 4th Monday of every month from 7 PM - 9 PM. Everyone is welcome to attend. We hold quarterly community meetings (in January, April, July, and October) that are designed to be more engaging and informative. See meeting agendas and minutes here!

SNO is run by a volunteer board of up to 13 elected board members who live, own a business, or own property in the neighborhood. See the current board here!

Special Election

Gov. Tim Walz has issued a writ of special election following the death of Minnesota Sen. Kari Dziedzic. The City of Minneapolis is working closely with Hennepin County and the Minnesota Secretary of State’s office in coordinating the Jan. 28 special election.

Minnesota Senate District 60 comprises all of Minneapolis Ward 1, most of Ward 2 and portions of Wards 3 and 6.

The Sheridan Renter Engagement and Education Program is now accepting applications for 2025! Earn up to $600 supporting your neighborhood and community! The Sheridan Neighborhood Organization (SNO) Renter Education and Engagement Program creates opportunities for residents to earn money by being engaged.
