Eat My Words Bookstore’s first in-person event! The show is set to take place in the drive way, weather permitting. We will be joined by the fabulous Open Eye Puppet Theatre Company with their new summer show, “The Amazing Cowboat”, as well as The Wild Blue Ice Cream Truck. Please bring cash to tip our performers.

THE AMAZING COWBOAT! It's time for Binh to take a bath! Binh's imagination comes alive as he pretends he is the captain of a boat that is part cow, part boat, and totally amazing! Together Binh and his Cowboat set sail on a high seas adventure to search for the lost crown of Lac Long Quan, the Dragon Lord of Vietnam, making friends as they go, all before sailing home to his bathtub before bed time!

Dear Sheridan Neighbors,

Sheridan Neighborhood Organization’s 2020 SNO Ball fundraising event was brimming with neighborhood spirit. Thanks to the amazing support of local businesses and neighbors, we’re thrilled to have raised $4,678.64 for both Sheridan Neighborhood Organization (SNO) programming and the Northeast Arts District (NEAD)!

Gross Income: $8,354.83 (from ticket sales, silent auction, photo booth, and liquor sales)
Total Expenses: $3,676.19 (from space rental, DJ, advertising, printing, and ticket fees)
Net Income: $4,678.64 !

As a Board of Directors, we have decided to give $2,500 to the Northeast Arts District of the raised funds, leaving SNO with $2,178.64 to use for future programming and events. This was one of the most successful SNO Balls we have ever had, so we thank you, our neighbors and friends, from the bottom of our hearts for making this possible.

We would especially like to thank all the businesses and individuals who donated space, food, decorations, liquor, auction items, and their valuable time and energy to put this together. Your continuing support of the Sheridan Neighborhood Organization enables many vital neighborhood improvements. Sheridan’s continuing progress is due to generous and thoughtful contributions like yours.
