Plant Giveaway
Sheridan Neighborhood Pop-Up Plant Giveaway! 🌱✨
This Sunday, June 20th from 11am-1pm, we will be outside Sheridan School at 1201 University Ave NE in the Gym Parking Lot (Doors 10-11) giving out plants for your gardens. We will have tomatoes, peppers, herbs, perennials, and more! Everything is completely cost free and pesticide free, so bring your dads (happy fathers day) and your friends and help get these plants in the ground!
These plants are donated from Youth Farm, Spark-Y, a few local farmers, and our community garden partners at Dangerous Man Brewing Co and Surly Brewing Company! ❤️If you would like to donate plants, please bring them to the same location between 10-11am on Sunday, June 20th.
21 Day Notice
The SNO Board intends to vote to change the language of our Rain Gardens funding priority to include our Community Gardens. This language change is essential so that we can use our Reserve funds to fund our two Community Gardens in 2021. This will not affect how much money is allocated to Community Gardens or Rain Gardens respectively.
View our current funding priorities here.
View the language change proposal here.
Join our February Board Meeting on Monday, February 22nd at 7pm on Zoom to voice any comments or concerns or email us at sno@sheridanneighborhood.org. The board will vote on this language change on or after March 4th.
